NHL 14: St. Louis Blues Guide

Despite having never won a Stanley Cup championship, the St. Louis Blues have been a fairly successful franchise since being founded in 1967. Beginning in 1980, the Blues would go on to qualify for the playoffs in 25 consecutive seasons.
The Blues will look to continue their winning ways in the 2013/2014 campaign. St. Louis will be led by captain David Backes, Patrik Berglund, TJ Oshie, Derek Roy, Chris Stewart, and Alexander Steen. Vladimir Tarasenko will look to avoid a sophomore slump after having such a successful rookie year last season. At the back end, Jay Bouwmeester, Jordan Leopold, Kevin Shattenkirk, and Alex Pietrangelo fill out a very balanced team. Jake Allen, Jaroslav Halak and Brian Elliot give the Blues a tremendous amount of depth in goal. Look for St. Louis to be one of the top teams in the West this season.
How to Play as the Blues:
The Blues are very balanced throughout their lineup. I would let the computer change your lines for you. Just relax, move the puck around, and try not to force anything, and the W’s will start coming while playing as the Blues. St. Louis will be one of the most underrated teams to play with in NHL 14.
The team is named after the famous W. C. Handy Song “Saint Louis Blues”.
